Jiegu Temple is located on the hillside, north of Jiegu Town. It is famous for the architectures, temples and lots of  cultural relics. Even some of eminent Buddhist monks here are very famous among Tibetan people.
The mani stone of the Jiegu Temple is world well-known. The first living Buddha Jiana lived in the Xinzhai Village of the town at his last years. He built the mani stone pile in the temple. As the time passes by, the mani stone pile becomes larger, about 2.5 billion mani stones were piled here in 200 years. So it can be called the "Largest Mani Stone Pile in the World". |
