Yangqing country, Beijing held the 25th Longqingxia Ice Lantern Festival in recent days. With thousand of ice lanterns, Longqingxia became a sea of joy and is full of happiness.
The Ice Lantern Festival is held by the Yanqing County People's Government and Beijing Tourism Council with the theme of "Snow and Ice in Longqingxia". It would last until the end of February. Among other things, the festival covers an area of 20 square meters and comprises four sections, which are the lantern area, now area, ice pavilion and snow match region. It consists more than 350 pieces of ice lanterns, 100 snow sculpture works and 1000 festive lanterns in total.
Compared with past years, Ice Lantern Festival in this year has many news highlights. Firstly, the site has been expanded, as a result, the decoration lanterns has increased largely. Secondly, the proportion of snow works in the total amount has been raised. Last but not least, the lanterns adopt new LED technology, which can save energy and at the same time, beneficial to environmental protection.
